Workshop Overview

In this workshop, students will learn how to record and draw historical objects. Students will learn how to prepare archaeological objects for publication. Students will then learn why and how to draw archaeological objects. Students will learn different illustration techniques such as stippling, line illustrations and cross-sections, and when to use them. Students will also learn how to select and use a scale. The practical elements of the workshop will include preparing a drawing area for recording objects, and how to create illustrations from a range of real artifacts.
