Workshop Overview

In this workshop, students will learn how to set up and draw sections. Students will learn how to prepare archaeological features before drawing a section. Students will then learn why and how to draw sections. Students will learn different techniques for recording sections including vertical measures, intervals, and how to identify archaeological layers. They will also learn how to convey all the required information through their section. The practical elements of the workshop will include preparing a feature for drawing and creating accurate sections in the field.
